Care and Washing

Two fibers, two distinct characteristics. Find your product's material and follow the instructions — the fabric will do the rest.

European Linen

OEKO-TEX® Certified

What makes linen special: It is the only natural fiber that improves with each wash. If it feels stiff at first, that's normal — after the second or third wash, you'll see the difference.

Washing

30–40°C maxExcessive heat can cause shrinkage. 40°C is the safe limit.

Normal or delicate cycleBoth work. No need for special programs.

Neutral or mild detergentLiquid detergents are gentler on linen fibers.

Wash before first useRemoves natural starch and activates fiber softening.

  • ✗  No bleach or chlorine — damages the fiber and discolors
  • ✗  No fabric softener — linen doesn't need it and it reduces absorbency
  • ✗  Do not mix dark colors with light colors during the first few washes

Drying

Air dryThe ideal option. Sun softens natural colors and eliminates bacteria.

Tumble dry on low heatAcceptable with a delicate cycle. Taking it out slightly damp is better.

  • ✗  No high heat tumble dry — can shrink the fabric

Ironing

Iron slightly dampWorks much better than on dry fabric.

Medium-high temperatureLinen tolerates iron heat well.

Linen wrinkles are part of its character. If you don't iron, it's fine — it's texture, not carelessness.

Organic Cotton

OEKO-TEX® Certified

No chemicals, no compromises: OEKO-TEX organic cotton contains no toxic dyes or treatments. Basic care is enough for it to last for years.

Washing

30–40°C for colorsKeeps colors vibrant and protects the fiber. Whites up to 60°C.

Normal or delicate cycleCotton is durable — any standard cycle works.

Mild detergentCompatible with fabric softener if preferred, though not necessary.

Wash before first useAlways recommended for new bedding.

  • ✗  No bleach on colors — only on whites if necessary
  • ✗  Do not wash above 60°C — can shrink or deform the fabric

Drying

Air dry or tumble dryCotton tolerates tumble drying well at normal or low temperatures.

Shake out after washing machineReduces wrinkles and facilitates even drying.

Ironing

Medium temperatureCotton irons well dry or slightly damp.

Steam if availableMakes ironing easier and leaves the fabric perfectly smooth.
